New Classes, Clubs, Groups and Events

We’re always delighted to welcome new activities to the hall. If you’re thinking of starting a class, club or community group, we’d love to hear from you. Please direct any enquiries to our caretaker or the Village Hall Secretary.

Community is shaped by the people who live in it — every new idea, every gathering, every shared interest helps keep our village thriving.

We aim to encourage residents of the village and wider community to join us for fun and play, meet new faces, and socialise. The group offers a range of play opportunities while parents support and encourage their child's development.

We meet once a month on the first Wednesday. The group meets in the Village Hall for a Play-town session, where children can bring their own little town to life by becoming doctors, vets, supermarket workers, cafe owners, and more. This role-play style of learning has proved very popular amongst our little members, with parents commenting that it is great to have a group nearby where their child can experience role-play activities without having to do it all at home.

We hope more little ones will join us in the beautiful village setting for a morning of fun. We have lovely near-woodland walks and a toddler-suitable playground within walking distance of the village hall car park.

Kingstone Toddler Group was registered with the Charity Commission in 1979.

More Than ‘Jam and Jerusalem’ – Kingstone WI Today
There is certainly more to Kingstone WI than ‘Jam and Jerusalem’. Since its formation in 1918, the group has grown into a vibrant, modern WI with an impressive range of activities. Members enjoy craft workshops, lunches, afternoon teas, film shows, and the ever‑popular ‘All Local Produce’ breakfasts, proudly supporting our local farmers.

The WI also organises outings, visits to other groups, and takes part in County Federation events at Stafford Showground, keeping members connected with the wider WI community. A varied programme of speakers adds inspiration and interest throughout the year.

Kingstone WI continues to thrive, offering friendship, creativity, learning, and plenty of fun — a true cornerstone of village life.
